A Christmas Tablescape featuring white and silver with pine cones. It’s simply glamorous.

Only 10 days until Christmas and my table is set! Two weeks ago, I showed you the goodies I found at Sears and promised what I would show you what I did with them! I wanted to keep with the same colors and theme as I used on my fireplace and mantel {white & silver with rustic cast iron & pine cones} because the dining room and family room are joined.
I used the mercury glass acorns to make decorations for the backs of my chairs. I cut 3 foot lengths of ribbons. Then, I removed the hanging loop from the acorns and put the ribbon through instead. Since the ribbon has wire in it, I was able wrap it around the ornament loop and pressed it so that it stayed without glue. Next, I looped the ribbons through the chair rungs.
To make napkin rings, I took a large pine cone and using a saw (the incorrect one according to my husband) I cut a slice off of it. The piece becomes a flower of sorts. Then, I hot glued a silver decor ball to the center of the pine cone flower and wrapped a piece of ribbon around the rolled napkin. Again, this is wired ribbon, so I only needed to fold and press it to make it stay. The pine cone flower sits atop the ribbon on the napkin.
I purchased a beach themed candle centerpiece from Sears but of course, the sand and shells wouldn’t fit my Christmas theme. So, I filled the glass tray with pine cones of various sizes. I found these red pieces in some potpourri that I have and tried adding them. I decided they would fit much better if they were silver, so I spray painted them. The tray of this centerpiece is glass and the base it sits on is rustic cast iron…perfect!
I already owned the silver rimmed white dish set and the silver rimmed glasses. But I purchased the silver chargers from Sears. They were exactly what I was looking for!
I also found these 2 beautiful damask cake stands at Sears! They are going to look fantastic filled with Christmas treats! I was unable to find a table runner and cloth napkins at Sears so I made my own.
The final 2 items I purchased to complete my table setting were a large damask platter and bowl that match the cake stands. I cannot wait to sit down and enjoy a Christmas dinner at my beautifully set table although I am going to be sad to have to put it all away when we are done!
How is your decorating going? Are you all done?

The big reveal Tonia! I just love it. Can’t wait to hear what you’re having to eat on the day. The setting looks beautiful. We’re planning a family dinner on Boxing Day at my Mum’s. Need to finish decorating our house now that I’m back from vacation or else Christmas will be here!
