Spring Wreath

I enjoyed making my first wreath so much that I decided to make another one!  I’ve really been wanting to add some spring colors to my home and this is the perfect place to start.

wreath supplies
I purchased this wreath quite awhile ago from the dollar store.  The recycled paper Easter grass is from Walmart.

spray paint wreath
First, I spray painted the wreath.

Next, I hot glued the Easter grass onto the wreath.  My plan was to cover the entire wreath but I really liked the yellow and aqua together so I changed my plan and only glued the grass to part of the wreath.

bunting supplies
I cut out fabric triangles and hot glued them to a piece of baker’s twine.

attach bunting to wreath
place bird on grass on wreath

I hot glued the bunting and a bird to the wreath.  My first piece of spring decor is ready!

You’ve caught the wreath bug, haven’t you? 🙂 I love the teal color. I don’t really do much to decorate for Spring, sigh 🙂
